Marta N. Tomkiw currently serves as the Executive Director for Systems Integration and Engineering for the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Ground Vehicle Systems Center. She is responsible for leading more than 1,000 associates in delivering force projection technologies, system prototype design and fabrication, concepts, modeling & simulation, analysis, systems engineering, and testing to the Army Science & Technology, Acquisition and Logistics offices for Army ground vehicle systems.
Ms. Tomkiw hasheld a number of leadership roles across the Army ground vehicle enterprise,most recently as the Deputy Product Manager for Foreign Military Sales, United States Marine Corps Light Armor Vehicle Program Management Office. Other GVSC roles she has held includeacting Executive Director for SI&Ein 2019, Chief ofStaff,and Associate Director for the Engineering Business Group.
Ms. Tomkiw has multiple academic accomplishments to include a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineeringfrom Oakland University, Master of Science in Technical Management from EmbryRiddle Aeronautical University, Masters in Global Leadership and Management from Lawrence Technological Universityand has completed the Senior Service College Fellowship at the Defense Acquisition University.
Ms Tomkiw has earned multiple awardsover her 30 plus years of civilian service, including the Civilian Service Commendation Medal, the Commanders Award for Civilian Serviceand the Achievement Medal for Civilian Service.
